I have always liked chess and each piece contains a universe of its own. As a game, we know that it simulates combat, once this condition is transferred to the bishop, he is involved in the chaos that war generates. I use various visual parameters as a creative medium, the first and most representative is "out of scale", placing recognizable and sometimes everyday elements on a larger, large plane, one that generates human habitability. As an architect I combine the bishop piece in a building, with an anachronistic facade, this is another characteristic that I always try to paint in my paintings, where different architectural styles appear. This bishop has the exhausting effects of battle but still stands, although further in the background is a menacing enemy knight willing to avenge the death of his queen by the bishop himself.
