My work is only inspired by local scenes from Soweto, South Africa, which has a rich history of migrant labour. I use a lot of colour because I believe colour is like a spice of life.

A former glory of herself
from the deep rural rolling valley of the village,
dreams & glory riches lured her to a dingy pozi
under the belly of Jozi, rat & lice infested brothels
don't bother the virus infected warm bodies waiting their turn,
social media propaganda placed pressure on her peers,
but it always ends in shameless tears,
it's abject poverty she mostly fears,
a pretty pimped & spiked pedal drug pusher
she's only after rapid paper,
as diabetic sugar daddies who can't get it up
lock her down, for an iPhone, weave or 4 digit fee
she offers her meaty oiled loins
to blood thirsty cannibals who hit it raw
despite her cycle period...
