Three years ago, I climbed the highest mountain in Western Europe with a group of Ukrainian mountaineers. When you're attached with a climbing harness to 3 people in front of you who will have to save your life in case you slip, a different bond develops. Both of my parents are from Ukraine, my cousin and his kids are there, my uncle and his kids are there right now as well.
I stand with Ukraine. I stand with the People of Ukraine.
Слава Україні!

Art House SF hosted several fundraisers to support Ukrainian humanitarian efforts. In March of 2023, we raised $2,500, and in March of 2025, we raised $3,000 for medical supplies for Ukraine.

Yet, it was a great night. Thank you to Boris Polissky Photography, Valerie Vasylieva, and Donum Vitae for their enormous support and for helping the event's organization so much.
Thank you, Bevri Georgian cuisine restaurant in Los Altos Hills and Palo Alto, for generously donating a couple of cases of excellent Georgian wine.
Thank you, Alyona Krutogolova, for continuously creating art that puts smiles on people's faces.
Thank you, Natalie Ora - Art, for donating beautiful handmade art pieces.
Thank you, Olena Babych, for donating her art.
Thank you, ТМ Presentville from Chernivtsi, Ukraine, for sending their souvenirs.
And of course, thank you to everyone who came today, and bought art, souvenirs, and postcards to support Ukraine.
We raised over $3,000 for the Ukrainian humanitarian efforts tonight.

From our March 2023 event
In March of 2023, we had a great night of art, food, music, and wine!
Boris and Lera treated us to eclectic Georgian and Ukrainian wines graciously donated to us by JVS Wines and Ukrainian wines donated by Bevri restaurant.

Alex and Sasha cooked some amazing vegan, home-cooked food from scratch from their Green Wolf Foods.

Max exhibited the cute and whimsical artwork by the Ukrainian artist Alena Krutogolova in his small boutique Art House SF gallery.

100% of ticket sales are donated to Donum Vitae (Gift of Life), a 501(c)3 non-profit that acquires and ships medical supplies, food and other first aid items to Ukraine. The next shipment is scheduled for March 16th.
We raised $900 from the ticket sales and $500 from the postcard sales for a total of over $2,500.
Thanks to everyone for the great night!

How the money from donations are spent:
Art House SF works with two of our closest friends for donations.
Lera is originally from the occupied Donetsk, Ukraine, and was forced to leave her home when the war started. She is a doctor and works directly with her Ukrainian doctor friends to deliver the medical aid they need. She assembles every package herself and travels to Ukraine to deliver them. Her husband, Boris, helps her in any way he can.
From Donum Vitae:
50 tourniquets, 45 combat bandages, 5 IFAKs, numerous medications, and supplements were sent to Ukrainian doctors. 2250$ were spent for the tactical medical supplies and $1000 for medications.
----
We succesfully packed and shipped 2 bags full of tactical medical supplies. Among others we sent:
10 IFAKs;
10 I-jel airways;
130 CAT tourniquets;
50 CELOX gauzes;
Power bars and non-parishable food for soldiers

In March of 2026, we'll host another Fundraiser for Ukraine. Stay tuned!
