Art Exhibit. "Peeling the layers" by Tavalina

Art Exhibit. "Peeling the layers" by Tavalina

We'd like to welcome Tavalina for her 3rd solo exhibit at Art House SF. Throughout the month of September, we'll be presenting her latest paintings in the exhibit that we'd like to call "Peeling the layers".
Tavalina's work is an emotional exploration of the world around us. Her work is complex and multilayered. She creates multidimensional spaces with multiple planes and parallel perspectives, sometimes warped, sometimes chronologically overlaid.
Her layering highlights a non-linear, trial-and-error, chaotic creative process where sometimes we have to take 2 steps forward (add more color and layers) and 1 step backward (remove some of the newly applied paint), to achieve something harmonious.
Creation and destruction, warm and cool colors, figurative and abstract, perspective and flatness, that's the freedom of expression she's manifesting in her work.
See her exhibit in person at 2324 Market St, SF Wed-Sat 11-7, Sun 11-5.
