In March 2026, we are bringing the latest pieces from our very first artist, George Abramidze. I met George 8 years ago in Tbilisi, Georgia, and immediately knew I wanted to bring his art back home.
George Abramidze is a contemporary Georgian artist based in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia.
George’s work exudes the warmth, hospitality, romanticism, and temperament of his native country. The country is rich in tradition, culture, music, and art.
George calls this series of paintings "City of Love." In my recent conversation with him, he shared:
"There's something missing in our everyday life. We don't seem to have enough of this lightness, tenderness, genuine sincerity, subtlety, and ease."
This is what this exhibit is about. About bringing back this feeling in our lives, creating it around us, the way George creates it in his surreal art.
